Mount Carmel

From Caesarea we headed to Mount Carmel which is renown for Elijah's encounter with the prophets of Baal.  You can read about it in 1Kings 18:17-46.

From Mount Carmel there are viewing platforms that give an awesome panoramic visual of the Jezreel Valley which is also known as Armageddon (see Rev. 16:12-16).
